Swokely Biometrics 2076521031 Editorial Review
The Swokely Smart Lock exhibits a mixed reception, heavily influenced by user experience when it comes to setup and functionality. On one hand, some customers enjoy its advanced features, such as remote operation through the Tuya app, multiple access options (including biometrics), and impressive battery life. Users have highlighted the convenience of being able to unlock the door using fingerprints or passcodes, along with a physical key backup for emergencies. However, the product suffers significantly from user manual deficiencies, with many purchasers reporting incomplete instructions and missing information, particularly about how to connect to the Tuya app. This has led to frustration for some users who were unable to utilize the lock’s smart features as intended. Additionally, there are complaints regarding the difficulty in getting spare keys cut, adding further complication to ownership. The troubleshooting methods, such as muting the voice prompts, were also not intuitive for many users. As such, while the Swokely Smart Lock’s features may ultimately provide a degree of utility, the user experience appears to be marred by poor instructions and setup challenges. **
