Despite the adhesive issue, the Philips Hue Lightstrip Extension is still a great addition to any smart lighting setup. It seamlessly integrates into existing Hue setups and provides a whole new feel to any space. It's important to note that the V4 version is not compatible with V3 lightstrips, and the connection between each strip is much thinner.
