Allows more string storage in the spool and gives the choice to cut with 2 or 4 strings for more cutting power. Accepts 0.060” to 0.170” string trimmer line (0.095" = 27 ', 0.105" = 22', 0.130" = 10', 0.155" = 9', 0.170" = 7'; recommend using Tri-clone's Kodiak 0.155" and Wolverine 0.170" for best heavy-duty string compatibility).

Align arrows on spool cap with arrows on lower housing, feed line through eyelet to half-length of line and twist spool cap clockwise to load. That’s It! Never lose your spring again!
