Critics note that although the drama's story arc is somewhat familiar, it manages to keep viewers engaged throughout its runtime of 17 hours. Bae Doona's performance has garnered specific praise; her ability to embody contrasting characters demonstrates her impressive acting range, enabling her to present a vibrant and relatable character despite the risk of her being perceived as overly energetic.
