Seymour Duncan Pickups & Pickup Covers 11107-13-7STR Editorial Review
### Editorial Review The Seymour Duncan JB (SDJB) pickup has Consistently received praise for its impressive tonal quality and versatility, making it a favored choice among guitarists ranging from rock and metal enthusiasts to those who appreciate jazz and blues. Many users have highlighted the JB's ability to significantly enhance the sound of more budget-friendly guitars, often noting that it can rival the tonal richness found in high-end models. Customers appreciate the full-bodied sound profile, characterized by warm mids, crisp highs, and a balanced low end, which makes it ideal for heavy gain settings typical in metal and rock music. However, it’s worth noting that the tonal characteristics can lean towards being overly treble-heavy, which may require players to roll off the tone knob to achieve a desirable sound, especially in high-gain scenarios. This nuance suggests that while the JB is highly adaptable, it may perform best in mahogany-bodied guitars equipped with tone knobs, allowing players to tailor their sound more effectively. Overall, reviews convey a strong satisfaction with the pickup’s quality and performance, reinforcing its reputation as a reliable and high-performing option across various genres. ### Pros and Cons **
