- The last days of summer 1937... Seventeen-year-old Franz, who lives in a small lakeside town, goes to Vienna at his mother's request to Otto Trsnjek, a tobacco products salesman who is an old acquaintance. Thus, he will both acquire a profession and be able to build a better future in a place like Vienna. While young Franz is learning the intricacies of the profession, he also meets famous smokers who stop by the shop. Franz, who became friends with one of these customers, Professor Sigmund Freud, made the meeting with the professor even more frequent after falling in love with a mysterious girl named Anezka. However, Franz was not the only one who came to Vienna in those days; Swastika crosses, Führer posters and the Gestapo also came and settled in the heart of Vienna. Life has entered an irreversible path when Franz, in the grip of a stunning love, begins to realize, albeit late, the transformation of the society he lives in, politics, in short, everything around him.
