Answer: If you also purchased two pieces of Lionel 6-12040 Transition track you could hook it up to old Lionel tubular track -

Is anything from lionel not made in china?
Answer: Yes they make the custom cars and made in USA line (these are makes with a usa flag on the box) and also some of the build to order line in the old K-line factory in North Carolina -
Question:
I bought this section to uncouple the wagons, now how do I reconnect the wagons?
Answer: To reconnect them, either push them gently together (no heavy force required) by hand or using an engine back them together. Unless the couplers are defective or stuck and need a drop of oil (always use sparingly) they will latch shut and you're ready to move out. -

Answer: This track has two functions 1) uncouples cars 2) activates operating cars such as log dump cars, coal dump cars, and operating animated boxcars 3) activates larger more complex operation cars such as Operating Milk Cars. -

Is a portion of the roadbed removable to allow usage with a milk car platform?
Answer: Both beveled sides snap off to permit the operating track to work with accessories like a milk car platform. The sides can be popped back on if you want to use the operating track elsewhere. -

Will this make the locomotive go?
Answer: The operating track section is used to uncouple cars in a train and also activate operating cars. To make a locomotive go, you need a train transformer to provide power to the track. -
Question:
Will this track work to add to the Lionel Junction Pennsylvania set? Can I use these tracks to add to and alter the layout?
Answer: As long as the Pennsylvania set is running on Lionel O scale fast track, yes it will work. If you are adding to your layout and purchase curved track, make sure it is O36. -
Question:
Will this track work with the Lionel train 0 gauge horse corral? Does this track need a plug?
Answer: If you're talking about the Postwar Lionel 3356 Horse Car and Corral or a newer version, they will work with FasTrack but you'll have to do some wiring and other minor modifications. If you're referring to the modern Western & Atlantic Horse Car and Corral or the Great Western Horse Car & Corral, they're made with FasTrack in mind and have the necessary plug. -
Question:
Will this work on older cars to uncouple, such as the 2460 crane?
Answer: I'm not sure, but I don't see why not. They all work on the same type of electrical signal.
