The VU meter light can be turned off and a DAC can be connected to the analog inputs available on the Yamaha. Overall, the Yamaha Audio A-S2200SL Integrated Amplifier is a powerful amplifier that can drive efficient and non-efficient speakers. It has a massive power transformer and offers a visceral punch. It doesn't have a center channel input, but it does have binding posts for A and B speaker sets and a preout for a powered subwoofer. The phono (MC) and phono (MM) have gains of 150 uVrms/ 50Ω and 3.5 mVrms / 47 kΩ respectively.
