The TerraMaster F2-210 is a consumer NAS that is easy to install, comes with hot-swappable disks, convenient disk bays with a drawer and a 1GB RAM that helps the machine run faster. Its software suite is almost the same as other brands, and the machine has an integrated SMTP server for setting up email alerts quickly. The mobile app may look horrible, but it does the job. The NAS works well for accessing files on a mapped drive, synchronizing with cloud services, and backing up stuff on the NAS at a good speed. File access from any device in the network is about 1-2 seconds at a steady 100-113 MBps. However, some customers have had difficulties in mapping a network drive, and some people have had issues with the software suite that comes with the device. Also, some people find the machine too pricey for what it offers. Some customers complain about the machine being almost impossible to configure, while others say that its CPU architecture is highly restrictive, which hinders streaming videos, running apps, or using programs actively.
