The AXA tool post material is steel and is of very good quality but requires milling to fit the T slot. The tool holders are medium hard steel and will work as expected. Some customers reported issues with the holders not fitting correctly with their tool posts due to improper milling, but most found them to be well-machined and finished. The ground surfaces are very flat, clean, and have correct angles to lock onto the tool post. However, some customers found defects including out of spec grounding, egg-shaped rollers, and non-straight rollers, rendering the product unusable. Overall, the AXA tool post and tool holders received mixed reviews.
